Abstract: |
The assessment identified prehistoric field systems and a medieval church close to the development area and associated features that may have extended into the proposed site. Cartographic evidence showed that buildings stood within the proposed development area in the 19th century. A section of roadway, possibly part of the original route throught the village, ran through the north of the proposed site connecting the hall and the church. This route was identified as being represented as a boundary line between the proposed site and the rectory complex. [Au(abr)] |
