Abstract: |
A desk based assessment of a proposed pipeline corridor idenitified a number of archaeological sites. The sites included a Bronze Age burial cairn, a medieval cemetery and the remains of medieval and post-medieval agricultural and lead mining activity. The assesment stated that excavations would be undertaken in advance of the destruction of some sites. [AIP] |
