Abstract: |
The site was part of the Swindon Railway Works Conservation Area, included on the Tentative List of future nominations for World Heritage Sites. Eleven Listed Buildings lay within the vicinity. No human activity was recorded before the post-medieval period. This assessment established that archaeological remains may have survived and recommended a full program of archaeological works.
