Abstract: |
Monitoring of the excavation of the raft foundations trench system revealed a sequence of archaeological deposits relating to ground raising deposits containing artefacts dating from the 12th to the 20th centuries. These artefacts included late medieval to 19th century pottery, ceramic brick material dating to the medieval period as well as several finely worked masonry fragments probably dating between the 12th and early 14th centuries.
