Abstract: |
Archaeological observation during groundwork in the churchyard revealed a subterranean brick-vaulted chamber against the chancel. Evidence for possible construction deposits during the rebuilding of the church in the 18th century were encountered, as well as grave fills. The work was not of sufficient depth to disturb any articulated human remains. [Au(adp)] |
