Abstract: |
Evaluation trenching, undertaken as part of a planning condition within the site of the BT Satellite Earthstation compound, revealed one small area with evidence of Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age activity with two small pits containing sherds of 'Darmsden style' pottery close to a barrow site excavated in 1972. The remainder of the evaluation area contained a few features of unknown date and function though some could have been caused by animal or tree disturbance. [Au] |
