Abstract: |
A series of trial trenches were excavated at the rear of the property, a Grade II Listed Building. The evaluation revealed dateable deposits which, from the pottery evidence, did not predate the late 17th century. Some of the deposits were stratigraphically earlier than stone walls in the evaluation area. [AIP] |
