Abstract: |
The work revealed walls and other features of the Old Tabernacle, a Methodist chapel constructed prior to 1820, and annotated as "Ruin" on maps dating to the 1950s. Elsewhere on the site it was likely that any archaeological features, deposits or finds that may have been formerly present, will have been removed during landscaping of the site in the immediate post-war period.
