Abstract: |
A non-intrusive post-planning determination field evaluation comprising a magnetometer, field and field walking survey was undertaken following the assessment and evaluation of an area to the immediate east of the site. The previous assessment had exposed a range of well-preserved settlement features, most of which were dated to the late 9th/early 10th century. The present evaluation revealed very little of archaeological significance, a few sherds of residual abraded medieval pottery were the total of the finds assemblage. The magnetometer survey revealed nothing of interest. [AIP] |
