Abstract: |
The site lay within 100m west of the site of a Romano-British settlement, now protected as a Scheduled Monument. There was no clear definition of the original extent of this settlement and there was a small potential for further elements of the site lying in the vicinity of the proposal. This area had been terraced and any surviving archaeological deposits were likely to be limited. [Au(adp)] |
