Abstract: |
The desktop assessment established that a number of archaeological sites and findspots occured within the study area, the area within a 1km radius of the site. However, there were no known archaeological remains within the proposed development area. Whilst previous houses on the site may have truncated potential archaeological remains in those areas, most of the site appeared to have been undisturbed, having been used as gardens since the 19th century.
