Abstract: |
An excavation was carried out at a proposed development site after an evaluation had revealed a medieval infant burial, post-medieval pits and a Tudor brick-lined well. Extensive medieval features were revealed during excavation. These consisted mainly of drainage gullies, pits and post-pits. A succession of post-medieval brick buildings was also recorded. A complete 16th century Cologne stoneware bottle was recovered from the well. [Au(adp)] |
