Abstract: |
A two-day evaluation was carried out at a site which lay in the vicinity of Bronze Age activity and an Anglo-Saxon cemetery. Two trenches were excavated, and two Bronze Age flint blades were recovered from a deposit which also contained medieval pottery. No significant features were identified, although a post-medieval midden was discovered. The site had been disturbed at the southern end by Victorian cellars. [Au(abr)] |
