Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of a trench for a pipeline within Podimore, a village with Anglo-Saxon origins. The pipeline passed close to areas of Iron Age and Romano-British settlement. During the waching brief, a ditch of unknown date, a medieval wall and a sherd of medieval pottery were recorded. [AIP] |
