Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken on the excavation of test pits in advance of the laying of a water main. Of the 12 test pits, 8 were located along the length of the Thorner Lane Roman road. No archaeological features were encountered and no artefacts pre-dating the 20th century were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
