Abstract: |
A one-week evaluation was carried out at a site which lay within an archaeological priority area intended to cover the site of the documented medieval village around Harlesden High Street. No previous work had been carried out in the vicinity. Two trenches were excavated, but no archaeological features were revealed. A few fragments of medieval and post-medieval pottery and tile were recovered. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary.[AIP] |
