Abstract:		 A series of trenches were excavated throughout the area proposed for gravel extraction. A single prehistoric feature was discovered which contained a sherd of Early Bronze Age pottery. Other features were found to be of post-medieval date. Metal detector survey and dry seiving produced no finds of archaeological significance. [Au]
