Abstract: |
<summary>An evaluation was undertaken on behalf of St Peter's Church Council. A well-preserved boundary ditch was revealed running parallel with, but some 2m south of the north boundary of the churchyard. Roman pottery from this suggested a 2nd-4th century date, but environmental evidence in the form of charred bread wheat suggested that a medieval date was more likely. {italon}Sec(21c){italoff} (amended) {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} HWCM49 |
