Abstract: |
No archaeological features or deposits were observed within the single evaluation trench, and only modern finds were retrieved. The modern terracing would have removed all surviving archaeological material, other than the truncated bases of deeply dug features. The absence of any archaeological features within the remainder of the trench, or residual pottery within the topsoil, also suggested that the potential for such material within the immediate area was low.
