Abstract: |
The foundation trenches for the extension to the northern end of the house exposed the natural subsoil directly below the topsoil. In the area of the new driveway, to the north-east of the house, across a field, the natural subsoil was observed directly below the top soil. No deposits of archaeological significance were observed in any of the areas monitored during the watching brief. [Au(abr)] |
