Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out along the route of the proposed A6 Great Glen Bypass, comprising a desk-based assessment and walkover survey of the defined study area. The assessment identified areas of earthworks over parts of the study area requiring more detailed recording, and demonstrated that due to the land use history, archaeological evidence may have been invisible to non-intrusive methods of investigation, and therefore required further investigation.
