Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken as part of the planning process. Six trenches totalling 143.7m in length were located within the 0.7ha site of a proposed housing development. Four trenches contained features of possible archaeological origin and two trenches contained no archaeological features at all. Trench 2 contained features of possible medieval date, the remaining features were undated but were probably associated with property divisions and cultivation. [Au(abr)] |
