Abstract: |
A brief inspection of the building was undertaken prior to dismantling to record changes in condition from the time of its initial recording in 1993. The detached nature of No. 14 Bewsey Street was brought into question through the discovery of a second main entrance and another flight of cellar stairs dating to the period 1826-1851. The comprehensive account of the building coupled with detailed drawings was considered adequate to enable the reconstruction of the building, with all its idiosyncrasies. [Au(abr)] |
