Abstract: |
The excavation results appeared to indicate the survival of a probable element of the friary, in the form of a substantial wall, which may have related to the cloistral wall for the friary complex. The absence of date was problematic, but the wall certainly predated the eighteenth century as it was sealed by the demolition deposits and garden soils relating to this period. [Au(abr)] |
