Abstract: |
Following evaluation, further excavation was undertaken in advance of residential development. Two possibly prehistoric field boundaries and four ditches representing medieval plot boundaries and containing 13th-14th century pottery were discovered. Features of post-medieval and modern date associated with the construction and use of 'Trevanion' were revealed. Building recording established that 'Trevanion' had at least three building phases, although it was not possible to establish the date of the earliest phase. [AIP] |
