Abstract: |
The line of a Roman Road (SMR 10627) was considered to have its course in the vicinity of the site. Eight trenches were excavated, representing 3% of the development area. A modern mains sewer and a shallow gully reflected the orientation of the modern field system. No other archaeological remains or finds were encountered and no further work was recommended.
