Abstract: |
The work comprised a geophysical survey covering an area of c.1 ha and the excavation of eight trenches over the site. Evidence of 20th century buildings, probably associated with the local collieries, was encountered in the west of the study area. A possible post-medieval-recent well or pit shaft was recorded beneath one of the buildings. [Au(abr)] |
