Abstract:		 Archaeological monitoring was carried out on the works for a new sewerage pipe running through the Saxon and medieval core of the village. No definite archaeological sites of any importance were revealed during the pipeline scheme but the medieval and post-medieval finds recovered are indicative of nearby sites. [Au(abr)]
