Abstract: |
The evaluation consisted of three machine excavated trenches. Cutting the natural Taplow gravels was a single linear feature. This was overlain by an alluvial deposit of yellow clay, suggesting the feature was probably a palaeochannel. No archaeological features or deposits were identified in any of the trenches.
