Abstract: |
An archaeological excavation and watching brief was undertaken at the site. Two graves containing three burials, a pit and a linear feature were identified during the excavation. Three further burials were identified during the watching brief. Only one find, a Late Saxon buckle, was located with one of the burials. The east-west direction of the burials suggested a Late Saxon Christian home burial in un-consecrated grounds. [Au(adp)] |
