Abstract: |
The watching brief revealed a wall foundation from which a single sherd of 14th century pottery and a piece of plain roof tile were retrieved. A second wall, possibly 19th century in date, was revealed opposite this medieval wall. At the south-east end of the trench a sandstone path on a north-east/south-west alignment was revealed. No dating material was recovered from this feature. [Au(adp)] |
