Abstract: |
Recording and appraisal work on a number of sites on the Aire and Calder and Calder and Hebble Navigation systems around Wakefield revealed a sequence of survival dating from the late 18th century. It was found that the canal locks investigated had all undergone a series of repair and alteration works over the past two centuries. [Au] |
