Abstract: |
The watching brief uncovered human remains, representing 22 individuals in total. This indicated that the graveyard originally extended 4-6 metres under the present pavement and road surface, and that there was a high density of burial with a mixed degree of preservation. Four more test pits along the northern wall of the cathedral revealed a series of brick burial vaults. [Au(abr)] |
