Abstract:		 The site is located in an area of archaeological and historical significance and lay within an Archaeological Priority Zone as defined in the Borough UDP. The archaeological potential for the prehistoric period was moderate. The potential for the Roman period was low-moderate, but the Saxon period had a high potential. The potential for the medieval and post-medieval period was low. The impact of the current building on the buried deposits was confined to the footprint of the building. This impact extended to an unknown depth but did not include basements. [Au(abr)]
