Abstract: |
A large ditch, which was deemed as too big for a field boundary, possibly a defensive earthwork, was recorded during the observations of this site. The ditch was dated using radiocarbon dating of some charcoal within the middle fill if the ditch, to between 670 AD and 880 AD, therefore, it was likely to have been early medieval in date. [AIP] |
