Abstract: |
The watching brief revealed that there had been heavy recent truncation and a number of deposits of modern origin were encountered. A relatively undisturbed medieval layer was also present directly above the 'natural' clays and sands. Medieval and post-medieval pottery, animal bone, tile, slate and a clay pipe were recovered from the trench. [Au(abr)] |
