The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Archaeological observation during the construction of a new dwelling within the medieval settlement of Wibtoft recorded a number of medieval features. Two small sections of probable wall foundation and several pits or gullies containing medieval pottery were recorded during the excavation of foundation trenches. Pottery dating from 12-14th centuries was also found in the footprint of the proposed house. The evidence suggests that the land on which the site is located was occupied by one or more buildings during the medieval period and that the shape of the plot may reflect an original medieval property.
