Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken, consisting of 65 trenches, in advance of a proposed golf course. The evaluation identified limited archaeological deposits which represented mainly agricultural and land management features and dated to the medieval and post-medieval periods. These comprised mainly drainage and field boundary ditches, as well as other features such as trackways and a pond. [Au(adp)] |
