Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a residential development. Medieval wells and conduits had been constructed in the surrounding area. During the evaluation, basements, cess pits, drain trenches and garden walls dating from the 18th century onwards were recorded. A clay pipe fragment and a medieval or post-medieval roof tile sherd were recovered. No further archaeological work was recommended. [Au(adp)] |
