Abstract: |
Trenches excavated to evaluate an area of lane to the east of Keldgate Manor revealed an unbroken sequence of archaeological deposits dating from the 11th century through to the 15th century. Preservation of organic remains on the site was excellent, leading to the survival of leather and wood, as well as significant assemblages of plant and insect remains. [Au(abr)] |
