Abstract: |
One trial trench was excavated within the footprint of a proposed new office building and toilet block. Two brick walls were revealed, thought to be the remains of the 18th century Dairy House which was demolished in 1990. Four intercutting pits were also revealed, three of which were post-medieval in date, though the earliest in this sequence was probably mid Anglo-Saxon in origin. [Au(abr)] |
