Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on groundworks at the site. Two phases of prehistoric occupation were identified. The first phase consisted of Early prehistoric layers interspersed with scattered pits. Flint, pottery and fragments of a polished axe were recovered. The second phase consisted of a few pottery sherds and an isolated pit of Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age. [Au(abr)] |
