Abstract: |
Trial trenches were excavated on the site. Quarrying and landscaping in the northern half of the site, had removed much of the archaeology and only one feature a ditch/furrow was identified. Residual Roman artefacts were recovered from the topsoil though. In the southern half of the site, quarry dumping and landscaping, sealed the earlier deposits but only agricultural deposits were identified. [Au(abr)] |
