Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a site partly occupied by tower blocks. An earlier desk-top assessment had found references to finds dating from prehistoric to medieval times in the general area. Five trenches were excavated on the unoccupied part of the site, but no features dating from before Victorian times were recorded. Residual 17th century pottery was present. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary. [AIP] |
