Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of foundation trenches for an extension in order to fulfil a condition upon planning permission. This revealed high levels of 19th century activity including a large drainage culvert. Medieval occupation was indicated by a clay layer containing charcoal and 13th-15th century pottery. [Au(adp)] |
