Abstract: |
<summary>A fieldwalking survey on land proposed for mineral extraction was undertaken. Low levels of prehistoric to medieval material and high levels of post-medieval and modern material were recovered. However, it was considered possible that the evidence for pre-medieval activity did not represent a true reflection of such activity in the area, and that further evidence lay sealed below alluvium or soil build-up. The survey failed to provide a date for a crop mark complex known to exist on the site. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
