Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was maintained during the first phase of construction of a development on the former site of the Wellow Brewery. Evidence of 12th to 14th century occupation of roadside properties, later converted to agricultural use, was recorded. Large quantities of pottery of 12th to 19th century date, and objects of stone, bone and leather (including fragments of several items of typically 12th to 13th century footwear) were recovered. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
