Abstract: |
A magnetic susceptibility and detailed gradiometer survey was carried out over agricultural land to the north of Bicester. 36ha of magnetic susceptibility was surveyed, of which 7.2ha were targeted for detailed survey. Seven areas of detailed gradiometer survey were carried out, targeting a number of enhanced area long with an area of 'null' response. A large number of cut features of archaeological origin were identified throughout Area 7. Situated in the south-western corners of Areas 2 and 5 were a further areas of possible agricultural activity. [Au] |
