Abstract:		 The monitoring was carried out in the Old Town of Portsmouth, during the quay wall re-anchoring. A series of limestone blocks believed to be remnants of the earlier quay wall, the cellar walls of a late 18th of early 19th century building and two contemporary cobble surfaces were recorded.
