Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of a construction trench at a redevelopment site. The line of a Roman road passed nearby, and Roman finds had been recorded in the vicinity. Part of the site was found to have been truncated, whilst made ground was encountered in the northern area. The underlying deposits were archaeologically sterile. [Au(adp)] |
